BoardsCount™ 2009 is underway

What’s new about BoardsCount™ 2009?

BoardsCount™ 2009 will follow the same basic process as last year, with four new features:

• There will be easy view summary graphs in your Individual Scorecard Report that shows you whether you are ahead of the game in certain key indicator areas – and what in overall terms your development needs may be
• On line data entry - you can still receive manual data entry but easy online fact finders and questionnaires will enable you (and your board member colleagues) to give us the data more easily and more reliably
• Free phone follow up – we are available on the phone by arrangement to talk through your findings to help you get the most from the information that BoardsCount™ will give you
• Low cost board meeting facilitation: we will prepare you a short board report that pulls out the key findings from the wealth of data that BoardsCount™ provides and facilitate a session of your board meeting to help discuss the findings and agree key action points for the year ahead
• After BoardsCount™ 2009, you will be able to check out the Good Practice Forum and see what others are doing with their BoardsCount™ reports
• There will be a graphical overview of how English registered charities compare with the Code of Good Governance, so you can use BoardsCount™ to see how you comply
